Briefly Dry

Some parts of western North Dakota have recorded rainfall in the past couple of days, but most of eastern North Dakota and western Minnesota have now gone a couple of days without any precipitation and it appears that most (not all) of that area will continue to stay dry through Saturday and at the moment it appears it may be Sunday night before any widespread moisture falls.  That moisture potential will be associated with an upper level low that will move across southern Canada but still influence much of North Dakota and northern Minnesota with thunderstorm potential.  Plus, that tracking of the main storm to our north will be much warmer temperatures as well.
