Changing Times

The storm system that has been impacting parts of South Dakota and southern Minnesota yesterday and lingering through today is a sign of a pattern change I have been talking about occurring as we approach and move into March.  Although this storm is missing North Dakota there will be another storm as early as early next week that may bring a higher threat to our area.  Some very light snow may hit a few spots this weekend, but any snow of consequence would hold off until that event early next week if it materializes.  After an overall dry pattern for the upper Midwest and the northern plains for the past 6 weeks, these storms may be the beginning of a more active pattern for March.
