The warmth of this week is going to come to an end today as a cool front passes through with the core of the colder air will be arriving in the next couple of days. This transition will be some areas getting rain today with an even more widespread rain event expected tomorrow. Once the clouds move out as we learning last week, some frost is a strong possibility. This doesn’t mean everyone will record a frost this weekend into Monday as clouds will protect many locations, but this time of year you always have to anticipate that possibility as we learned last week. This is usually the time of the year we have the first frost and or freeze of the season so if it does get cold, it would not be unusual.
