The difference between the storm system that will be exiting the area today and the one this weekend will be temperatures. Yes, the clouds today as the storm departs will keep temperatures well below average but this storm is tracking much differently than the weekend storm. In turn, the temperatures post this storm, say tomorrow, will not be nearly as chilly as they were several days ago. The next storm coming in later tomorrow into Friday will also track in such a way that cold polar air will not be advected into the region, meaning, the next storm will also not bring in the cold air. The clouds will keep it cool at time, but daytime highs in the 40s are not expected.
