March 23, 2017 Rain

Although the rainfall yesterday was generally near or less than 1/10th of an inch, there was a band of ½ inch rain from near Bismarck to near Grand Forks yesterday.  This is the scenario we will have to watch carefully in the common weeks because although the moisture can’t be seen in many locations, the ground is quite saturated and these additional rains will not only potentially aggravate the spring flooding that is expected in some locations but also delay Plant 17.  Right now the pattern is active, but most of the storm have been missing us to our south, I continue to think that one or two of these southern track storm will eventually hit our region come April.
