No changes in weekend, just a matter of where the heaviest rain bands set up, but clearly some areas will get 1-2 inches with localized pockets above 2 inches like like week event it appears.
Today: Speaking of 1 inch rains, northeastern North Dakota will have localized 1.50 inch amount it appears as the rain currently in that area will continue for most if not all of the afternoon and slowly dissipate tonight. Southern Red River Valley will likely not see much beyond what already has fallen and therefore having some of the lower totals. Much of Minnesota outside the NDAWN network will have 0.50 to 1.00 inch potential today as well, although, not all will get that much.
Projected radar for the rest of the day:
Friday looks dry and I will be using that opportunity to help install a new weather station in Campbell, Minnesota our newest NDAWN station. I’ll have updates on the weekend storm on my twitter feed @darylritchison Plus, there still appears to be a frost threat on Monday and Tuesday.
