Some people love a good snow storm, others hope we can get through a winter with as little as possible. From an agricultural perspective, we have been somewhat fortunate the heavy snow we have recorded came in October when we had time to melt them and still do some harvesting. A huge snowstorm, like the ones that have occurred to our south in the past couple of weeks, would in many instances, push the harvest to next spring with huge loss potential. If you’re a fan of snow or not, no big precipitation makers are foreseen in the near term. Instead, a warming trend will be occurring this weekend into early next week.
