Most of North Dakota into northwestern Minnesota have recorded very little precipitation in the past 5 to 6 weeks.  Were we in the warm season talk of needing rain would be the number one topic of conversation, but this time of year a majority of people are very happy with this dry period with of course the exception being the folks that make a living moving the snow.  No snow of consequence is expected until perhaps Sunday or early next week and there is much uncertainty to the track of that potential storm.   We average around an inch of liquid this month, so even if we only recorded half that amount, the odds are high we will eventually see some more snow.
