The temperatures yesterday and what is coming the next couple of days is a reminder that spring usually comes in spurts.  Warm periods followed by cool periods.  We will occasionally get a spring that stays warm, but that is the exception rather than the rule.  After the coolness of the next few days, we will warm up and probably see another shot of cool air with threats of frost once again.  When you live in the northern plains there is always cool air lurking in central and northern Canada this time of year.  At the moment it appears we will have to wait until early next week for temperatures to get back to where they were a few days ago.
