Still Looking Dry

With the recent rains I have been asked a lot lately if I still think the summer is going to be drier than average.  My short answer is I do.  Much of April into early May I mentioned, even though I am thinking it’s will be a dry summer, yet having said that, we need to wait until the second half of May before we get into what I reference as our rainy season.  Sure enough, it rained once we got to that point of the year.  But a ten day stretch of wet weather doesn’t necessarily make a trend, meaning, that if you got adequate rain recently, you’re clearly thankful, but it also doesn’t necessarily mean above average rain will continue in the next few months.
