Subtle Change?

Last week I wrote an article for the North Dakota Agricultural Association dealing with potential changes in August.  If you look back at other dry years like we are having this year, a high percentage of those years saw an increase in precipitation during the month of August.  2017, 2012, 2006 and even the famed 1988 all recorded changes in August.  Of course, not all areas received the increase in moisture as rarely does all areas get hit with storm. Yet, there are a couple of factors coming into play that may get August to record at least near average rainfall.  Of course, even near average rainfall isn’t going to make much of a change to our situation.
