Transitioning

Temperatures will be warming up this week and maximums back in the 60s will clearly be possible in much of North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota later this week.  But just like what occurred yesterday, it appears that colder air will be moving back into the area early next week.  That transition to cold may bring some rain and perhaps some snow to the area, but there is still much uncertainly to the track of that particular storm.  These ups and down in April are of course all perfectly normal for the time of year making planting timing always difficult.  At the moment I would say more cool than mild will be the rule the next couple of weeks.
