Warming Up Soon

With cooler air back in the region, the question has now become, when will we warm up?  This coolness is associated with the upper-level low pressure center that was the parent for the surface low that brought all the rain last weekend.  This pattern shift is only temporary as warmer air is expected to build back toward the northern plains this weekend.  It will get to western North Dakota before the eastern part of the state or Minnesota, but some warmer temperatures will be present this weekend and there are strong indications that by next week more expected high heat with the associated higher dew points will return to the region, but for now, below average temperatures for a couple more days.
