The weekend storm dropped quite a bit of rain in some areas and not so much in others. In other words, a typical spring storm. The heaviest rain fell from south central North Dakota into far northwestern Minnesota where 1 to 2 inches of rain was common. In fact, some areas in far NE North Dakota recorded over 2” in localized areas. If you live in many parts of southeastern North Dakota or western Minnesota, the rain totals were far less with some locations recording near or under one-quarter inch. Although some rain in still lingering today, the storm is mostly over and looking forward, North Dakota looks to be staying mostly dry for the rest of the Month.
