The rains never falls evenly as we find out every time it rains this time of year. Some locations recorded little or no rainfall this weekend. A few isolated spots had over 4” of rain. The locations that recorded the most rains were in the southeast and the southwest corners of North Dakota. The southeastern part of the state needed the moisture and were below average until the rains came for the month. Although based on average the southwestern portion of the state was faring better, that area almost always could use more rain as it has a dry climate. Much of this week looks dry with no widespread precipitation expected until late in the week.
