The high pressure center that was over North Dakota yesterday has now moved into Missouri. The wind has shifted to the south or southwest and will trend west to southwest during the day.
By tomorrow morning a quick shot of 1-2 inches of snow will fall roughly near Highway 2 and northward with lesser amounts south of that line with locations near I94 possibly getting a brief mix of sleet or sprinkles.
On Saturday yet another band of snow will develop and this looks to be a bit farther north than the disturbance on Friday, although, perhaps not quite as far north as the graphic below indicates.
On Sunday a cold front will push through North Dakota and that may trigger a touch of snow, but more importantly will bring colder air back into the region. So three chances of snow and if you live in the southern one-half North Dakota, it appears you will record very little snow from these events, but those area may experience some scattered light rain.
No changes to extended thoughts.
