With tomorrow being the last day of February, it appear the month will end up in the top 10 warmest on record. Yet, even with the very warm temperatures in the past couple of weeks it won’t finish as the warmest as many have asked in the last several days. The month started fairly cold and that early stretch of colder temperatures will keep the month from finishing as warmest. In many part of North Dakota, including Fargo, 1998 was the warmest February on record, with 1987 as the second warmest. Those two growing seasons were notably different to remind as that what happens in February, doesn’t mean all that much for the rest of the year.
