There are some spotty showers in north central North Dakota this morning. These showers will drop very little moisture, but will at least cause some cloudiness in many locations near and north of interstate 94 this morning.
It is associated with a vorticity maximum (upper air disturbance) that will move quickly through the area. Otherwise, the sky will vary from partly cloudy to sunny today with maximums in the low to middle 80s. The wind northwest 10-20 mph.
There will probably be at least some spotty to widely scattered thunderstorms on Friday Night, but overall, very little rain is expected for the next several days through early next week, with maximums mostly in the low to middle 80s through the weekend with perhaps just slightly cooler air into next week, so very close to seasonal averages.
