Our quiet weather pattern should continue for the next week.  There will be a couple of small disturbances, but no big storm anywhere near this region is expected.  A trough of low pressure will develop in the Pacific Northwest and in turn the northern plains will be under a ridge of highpressure.  That will in turn induce above average temperatures and keep the big storms well to our north and to our south.  At the moment this generally pattern will hold until next weekend meaning no big storms until we get closer to Christmas.  That doesn’t mean we will get one near the holidays either, but that is still too far away to have any confidence.
