The heaviest rain from this storm was in two areas. The first ended up being in northwestern ND, Saskatchewan into part of eastern Montana and the second was in western Minnesota especially just east of the Red River Valley. Although there is and will be some light wrap around rain across northern North Dakota, for the most part the precipitation part of this storm is over. But the northern plains will still be under the influences of the system for a few more days. Today will be much cooler than yesterday, especially those in eastern North Dakota and western Minnesota and it will get even colder before any warmer temperatures return with freeze expected for most locations Friday and Saturday mornings.
